When the San Antonio weather is doing its thing—scorching sun, surprise storms, or those perfect Texas sunsets—it’s the ultimate excuse to gather your crew and break out some wild party drinking games. Whether you’re chilling on a rooftop, kicking back in your backyard, or pregaming before hitting the River Walk, the forecast just became your new drinking challenge.
Weather-Proof Party Drinking Games
San Antonio weather is famously unpredictable. So why not make it the star of your next house party idea? Here’s how to turn every heatwave, thunderstorm, or breezy evening into a viral drinking game you’ll talk about for years.
1. The Weather Watcher Challenge
Perfect for: Rooftop parties, backyard BBQs, or any night with a view
What you need:
- Drinks of your choice
- Access to a weather app or the local news
- Friends ready to get competitive
How to play:
- At the start of the night, everyone predicts the temperature at a set time (for example, 10 PM).
- Each person writes down their guess.
- When the time hits, check the actual temperature.
- Closest guess hands out drinks to two people; the farthest off takes a dare challenge chosen by the group (bonus points for NSFW dares if you’re feeling bold).
- Throw in a meme drinking game twist: The loser has to post a weather meme in your group chat.
2. Storm Chaser Dare Game
Perfect for: Those classic Texas thunderstorm nights
What you need:
- Drinks
- A deck of dare cards or use our custom drinking game builder to make your own wild NSFW dares
- Bluetooth speaker for stormy vibes
How to play:
- Every time thunder rolls or lightning flashes, everyone takes a drink.
- The first person to spot a weather alert on their phone picks someone to complete a dare challenge.
- If it rains, the whole group does a viral drinking game—like waterfall or flip cup—outside (umbrellas optional).
3. Sun’s Out, Fun’s Out
Perfect for: Blazing hot San Antonio afternoons
What you need:
- Sunglasses for everyone
- Drinks (keep them cold!)
- A list of classic meme drinking games
How to play:
- Every time someone mentions how hot it is, everyone drinks.
- If anyone takes off their sunglasses, they have to do a dare.
- Bonus: Try couples drinking games—if you’re with a partner, swap drinks every time you hear the word “humidity.”
