Midterm Election Drinking Game Rules & Dare Challenges
Here are some easy-to-follow drinking challenges to get you started. Feel free to mix in your own, or use our custom builder to create the ultimate party drinking games experience.
Basic Rules for Election Day Drinking Challenges
- Take a sip every time a candidate says “the American people” (or the equivalent for your country).
- Take two sips if you hear a wild conspiracy theory.
- Finish your drink if a commentator predicts a massive upset.
- Pass out a dare challenge (think NSFW dares or meme-worthy tasks) every time a new district is called.
- Group cheers if a meme goes viral during the coverage or if someone in the room gets featured on a live social media feed.
Dare Challenge Ideas to Spice Up Your Party Drinking Games
- Impersonate a politician for the next round.
- Post a meme about the election with a ridiculous caption.
- Attempt to explain the electoral system—if you mess up, take a shot.
- Make a toast to your least favorite political catchphrase.
For Competitive Crews: Team-Based Drinking Challenges
Split into teams (Red vs. Blue, Left vs. Right, or make up your own party names). The team with the most correct predictions wins, and the losers take on a dare challenge chosen by the winners.
Pro Tips to Make Your Midterm Election Drinking Games Legendary
- Add in some wedding party games or couples drinking games if your crew wants to get romantic or extra competitive.
- Try throwing in a Fortnite drinking game round during slow coverage moments for bonus mayhem.
- Remember: always drink responsibly and know your limits.
